I have been talking to someone from work for over a year; I know he likes me. Over quarantined, we started working from home. I decided to give him. my phone number to keep the connection going; I said if I don't receive a reply, I will assume I misinterpret our relationship. He never replied. I moved on, a month after that, he happens to be at the same public place. I was there first; he must have seen I was there. He tried twice to approach me. I ignored him and treated him like I did not know him. He seemed upset by my reaction. Why would he want to come to me if he never reaches out? Did he ghost me?

He wanted to keep it professional. Do the same. Be polite and keep collegial. Date outside of work. Have you tried dating apps?

He tried to approach you because he probably knows you from your workplace. No, I don't think he ghosted you. You didn't have anything between the both of you to ghost from. He might have forgotten about your number that day or misplaced it or just wasn't feeling it.

Try not to overthink this. In future just stay friendly and cordial with all your coworkers if you see them in person.

Well that's a really mature response on your behalf.

What's wrong with the buttons on your phone, they don't dial out?  Why didn't you call him?

You obviously care enough about him to be making this post about him, so then why did you ignore him when you saw him?  You're the one sending him very mixed messages.

I don't have his number. He could have easily sent me an email saying he misplaced my number. I ignored him because I felt I was ghosted.

Are you both still employed at the same company? Just leave it for now and say hi the next time there's a company gathering or meeting, in-person or online. You both are bound to bump into each other, right?

There is no ghosting if there's no type of romantic connection established.  You're just two co-workers.

Did you show him any type of romantic interest?  Doesn't really seem like you put forth much effort to seem interested IMO, just that you thought he'd chase you and he didn'tt.
