I can't tell if this girl likes me.

Hi all! It’s been a while since I’ve been here but I come searching for more advice.

This topic is about a friend of mine, one I’ve been friends with for two years now. This confusion starts back a year ago, where in a messy time of each of our lives, we ended up drinking and making out with each other but then stopped really being friends for a while cause of the situation (she was just going through a messy breakup and at the time I was having severe confidence issues). 

Now this topic has been getting even weirder between her and I as of the last few months. It began again with subtle things like her wanting to go out on hikes alone or go hang out and travel alone. No big thing, (besides it was directly out of my previous relationship), but we’re just beginning our friendships again so no worries about it. 

So as a preface I always say I like “crazy girls”, what I really mean by it is exciting energetic girls. So one time at a party a few months ago she tells me she needs to talk to me, we sit down, and she says “why can’t you just like a nice girl”, before immediately shifting the focus of the conversation from what she had just said to something else. I thought this was a bit weird but again okay, I guess?

This then leads us into recent events. It seems like every time we’re with friends we sorta bully each other (we just think it’s funny), but every time we’re alone she always wants to talk about sex and hear about my previous sex life. On top of that, she also is super involved in how I’m feeling and wants to see if I’m okay. Such as recently we stayed up until 6 a.m just drinking and her asking about my sex life all the time. This same night I was helping her housesit for the night, and she also told me that night that I was “girl next door” level “pretty”. (I am a guy it was just the choice of words)

I’m not sure if I’m looking too far into this I’m just curious to see if others have the same confusion I do and wanted to get more opinions.
