*Squees* I’m so happy for you. That feeling of excitement each time you meet is really what it’s all about 🥰❤️😍

Yes it is 🙂 but I prefer the phase after that. When we know we got each other and can relax.

You're in luck I only have positive things to report 🙂

We can't wait to spend time together,  the anticipation is exciting and our time together fulfilling, he keeps in touch through the day, he remembers everything I say and follows up, he's calm, grounded but also funny and a great conversationalist.

I have not brought up the exclusivity talk. As of now I don't feel the need to have this talk. When we first met he told me he's not multi-dating and I trust that for now. I'm also thinking everyone can agree to the exclusivity talk and keep on meeting other women in secret (I wonder where I got that idea).

Bolden, AMEN!!   This is what I've been saying all along!  When it's "right," and you're on the same wavelength (and you can feel when you are) nothing has to be said at all!

I have never had this "exclusivity talk" with any of my boyfriends.  Well, I take that back, with my last ex, I did mention it after like 2.5 months, and his response was "What? I thought we already were"!  And we both laughed.

Today was the 5th date. From here I'm gonna stop counting the dates. We kissed hello and he said *you know what today is! it's been one month we met* lol, he's counting the days. He's adorable! He cooked a traditional dish and he packed some for me to bring for lunch tomorrow.

I made plans to ship my teen to her big sister on the weekend so I can invite him over for the first time 🙂

What did he make?   I love a man who can cook, I find that so sexy!  All my boyfriends were great cooks including guy I'm seeing now, although I am getting quite good in my own right!

Anyway, I am so happy for you Gaeta, I knew it from the very beginning, I just felt good vibes, I think I told you that! ❤️

Yes you did tell me you had a good vibe 🙂  It unfolds easy and naturally.

So instead of believing in romantic love like in movies, I decided to start treating men like prospects like you did. I want to focus more on how they treat me than if I like them. Maybe this is the best solution nowadays. Wish me good luck.

The first 3 dates, no matter how much l like them, it's an interview disguised in a fun date.

Good luck 😁

Unfortunately sometimes the qualities that attract us most have nothing to do with how good a partner someone is. Or worse. Sometimes the qualities that attract us are ones that mean someone would not make a good partner at all! For example, more than a few people are attracted to narcissistic traits…

I liken it to food. Some people love the taste of healthy food. And therefore eat healthy. Some people don’t really have a strong preference, so eat healthy because it makes them feel better. But some people genuinely prefer the taste of junk food. So the question is would you rather eat junk food knowing the damage you’re doing to your body. Or will you eat healthy food despite your cravings. Because you know in the long run it’s better for you?

@Gaeta Any update on your dad?

He will get his surgery on Wednesday.  He was in the woods and walked on a wasp nest. He was stung 50 times. He went blind, lost the usage of his legs and he crawled 2 hours to get out of the woods, he's 82!! Someone found him on the edge of the woods and called an embulance, he was carried by airplane to the Heart Institution. They said he had a small heart attack linked to his efforts to crawl out of the woods and discovered the 4 blocked arteries. That wasp incident saved him from having a major heart attack later this year.

My new man has been super supportive and reassuring.

Wow.  Terrible as it was, it is a good thing if it will prevent an even worse event later.

Hope all goes well next week.  Will he be in hospital until then?

Thank you Introverted1,

Yes, they are watching him closely. We are 4 children so we all took a day to stay with him. Our mother will arrive on the day of the surgery. Where he is it's 7 hour drive from their home and 2,5 hours for us kids.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Oh my, thank goodness he was able to get to safety and if the experience saves his life, that’s a good thing! Still, so sad that this happened. Take care.

Oh my Gaeta, the same thing happened to my dad while he was golfing, stepped into a bee's nest.  Stung over 100 times. He is allergic so became very ill but he survived.

Saying prayers and sending good positive energy your way, please keep us posted.

((Hugs)) to you and your family.
