JadeStar
I have panic and anxiety attacks, which the doc put me on meds for last year. However, she told me to only take one if I really really needed it. So needless to say, I have not had to take any since I haven't had a really bad one in a while. However, my question is, what can cause an anxiety attack to come on all of a sudden when I'm doing nothing? I'm not over exerting myself, not thinking about anything in particular etc, not in a situation that would cause me to feel overly anxious etc, but yet for some reason its like they can just creep up on me. I have felt fine all day, then all of a sudden while I was reading a magazine, one just appeared out of nowhere, why is that? Jade
JS17
I'm not really sure but maybe since you were finally getting some down time you were relaxed and everything going on in your life had a chance to hit you? Haven't you been worried about your respiratory issues?

Haven't you been worried about your respiratory issues? Yes, I wonder if lack of oxygen to the brain from smoking can or is related to anxiety in anyway. Might be a good question for the doc. JS17
Well I hadn't even thought of that. My emphasis was on the worry part but it might be something to think about. Go to the doctor already!
