Hey guys and gals, what do y'all think about women wearing glasses?

So many hot women on Pinterest wearing, but anyway, I just bought about 5 pairs off Amazon, different colors, big wide-rimmed, and there has been a noticeable difference in how often I am approached, by both men AND women!

I wore them last night and the man I am dating thought I looked so hot, he could not stop commenting and when we got home.......

I also got approached at the market last week while wearing.

What do you think about this new trend?

Is it a trend?

I wear glasses because I need them to see... But I'm not a fan of big bold frames, so have rimless/invisible ones.

I also don't particularly like bold frames on other people, so I'd say it's not really for me!

Well, as a person who was likely born with terrible vision (got my first pair of glasses at 3), I haven't had much choice in the matter! Contacts dry out my eyes too much for daily wear.

I haven't noticed much difference in how often I'm approached while wearing glasses versus not, and I tend to be someone who people in general (not just men) strike up a conversation with when I am out and about.

Same for me introverted, but like I said, when wearing them, I get cold approached more often; for example a couple of days ago, a woman approached me, complimenting me, we ended up chatting, turns out she lives in my building and we made plans for lunch!

I am not THAT blind, but I do need but used to go without for vanity reasons, but now I just decided to buy some fashionable ones and wear, and I am surprised by the attention, that's all.

I'll try to pay more attention and report back!

Oddly, I don't think I seem very approachable, but others apparently think I am!

Hahahah I have blue hair, for that! It's a great conversation starter! The amount of women, in particular who come up to me and just compliment me on my hair is UNREAL! Men tend to me more cautious about approaching, because I assume they don't want to be seen as "creeps". (I have a short bob, electric blue, and a pink fringe)

I wear glasses. Men think that makes me look like a teacher or a librarian. I guess it is a turn on for them or something, lol.

I´m not sure if my personal view may have any wider meaning.

Women that get my sight ussually also wear glasses. But....

...as I´m attracted to women of my own generation, and...

...as in such age range a lot of us, includding attractive women, use at least reading glasses...

...it may be, just perhaps, a "selection" biased by a reason that are not glasses in temselves.

Thinking it better, may be a lot of our prefferences are like mine, indirect derived ones.

@poppyfields are the types of people giving you attention different? Or the same just in larger numbers? I don’t think they change overall attractiveness, but perhaps make an attractive person seem more approachable to certain people?

I get this.  It's the women who don't walk around thinking their **** doesn't stink (apologies for the bluntness), who are a bit understated, who get approached.

I think I mentioned previously, but I get approached more often (or people striking up random convos) when I am low key, no or very little make up, dressed casually.

I have an attractive friend who NEVER leaves the house without a full face of makeup, her best outfit, hair styled perfectly and she complains about never being approached.  Not even rarely, but never.

Hi Weezy, larger numbers.   It may be a coincidence though, not sure.

I will give my theory a couple of more weeks cause it could be my energy too, a little more "sprite in my step" or something that's attracting people, hard to say.

Outside of the hot librarian fantasy….glasses don’t matter.

I definitely fit this profile.  About half the time I'm in gym clothes because I am running errands before/after a workout. The rest of the time, I'm in jeans and a t-shirt.  Unless I am actually going on a date, I don't dress up, and, even then, my idea of dressing up is pretty low-key.

And to re-emphasize, it's not just men who approach; people just seem to want to talk to me regardless of age/gender.  I haven't quite figured out why.

I had glasses most of my life but in the last 10 years my eyes have improved a lot. I don't need them anymore unless I'm traveling or some other dire situation.

It's good energy introverted.  Even dogs love me!  lol  And little boys staring and ogling when I am talking to their moms or dads.

It's weird but what I think it all boils down to is projecting a really good positive open energy and vibe.  People underestimate the power of it, but I don't.

Energy/vibe is powerful.  Looks are important too but a great energy/vibe can even trump looks imho.

I have reading glasses. On my profile l have one picture of me with them on and l'm looking up at the camera. I have 'a lot' of positive comments on that picture.

A sexy man with glasses is the best 😊

*shrug* I have terrible eyesight and so sometimes I wear contacts and sometimes I wear glasses. I haven’t noticed any difference as to how men interact with me. And this has been for years. I don’t think women wearing glasses, or men being attracted to women in glasses is a fad.

Hey Veronica, see previous post but they are prescription.  I should probably see an optometrist but purchased them on Amazon and they're perfect!

I bought five pairs in different colors and sizes.
