Was I harsh to tell my friend I only call them unless I schedule it?

I have a uni friend who is away and sometimes we talk/call that is scheduled. The other day, I accidentally hit call on and ended it. When they saw it, they told me they were in class when I called and said sorry for not answering. I then said "oh it was an accident, I wouldn't call unless we scheduled, which is why I said to ignore it.". I do wonder if maybe that sounded kinda cold or a little callous, so

I would responded with "no worries, I dialed you by accident anyway 🤪"

Are you on the autism spectrum by chance?

No, nothing sounds wrong with what you wrote if you usually schedule your calls. This seems very ordinary.

Is that person not responding to you anymore? Why do you second guess yourself?
