Els Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 It really depends on the factors involved, notably WHICH location I would be moving to. Personally, there are some places that I wouldn't live in if you paid me a hundred million dollars, some which I feel neutral about, and some which I would actively like to move to. I would be willing to move in the 2nd and 3rd case, but not in the 1st. In that case, I feel like "moving for love" would be a misnomer, because clearly that "love" would be one-way - a person who loved me would not expect me to move to those places for him. I did move for love, once. We're happily married now and we've been together for 13 years. But I moved to a country that I'd always wanted to try living in, anyway, so I knew that even if it didn't work out, I'd still have had the adventure of a lifetime living in that country. Re: marriage, I really wouldn't recommend marrying someone whom you've not lived with before.
