Aventra
Did your ex admit missing you after dating someone else? Perhaps the date was poor or they found no-one quite like you to fill that void Let's be honest your ex will compare their new date with you. Maybe at first all will be sunshine and roses but I was wondering how often they start pining after you whilst pretending all is rainbows !
Alpacalia
Yes, and then my response was like "tough noogies." Edited November 20, 2021 by Alpaca
Wiseman2
I'd stop watering her lawn altogether.🥦🌿
Fox Sake
Are you still pining after an ex by any chance? I feel like you’re looking for someone’s experience that worked out like that.. blow that flame out bro. If you’re hoping she will come running back and things go back to being all rosey, then you should probably buy a lottery ticket at the same time! I hope you aren’t considering this , but if you are - find some self respect and value yourself. If you took her back after her dating around, you would look like such a pushover. The only comparisons they’re usually making against you is the things they didn’t like. Yes I’ve had an ex come back, usually years later and the answer is always no for going back. find someone new. The next one is almost always better than the last!

When the noose isn't perched directly above your head or they realize the 'grass' is NOT greener out there after all, their ex can look a lot more attractive and appealing. I believe that is where the saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder" originated from. And why people have off and on relationships. basil67
I've not experienced this with an ex. And I've never ever regretted breaking up with someone.

TeddyBundy1993
Yes one of my ex did she returned and we stayed together for next 11 months to separate again. Both of my exes are happily married and one even have kids now. It depends on their next partner I believe. But you know as you move on in life I have realized grass is greener doesn't matter as much after you've done with hate & anger you wish them good luck and move on with your life.

The next one is almost always better than the last! Thanks for that I was thinking of this song... Overview Lyrics Listen Main results Times were tough love was not enough So you said sorry Johnny I'm gone gone gone You said my act was funny But we both knew what was missing honey So you let out on your own Now that pretty form that you've got baby Will make sure you get along But you're gonna find out someday honey When you're alone you're alone When you're alone you're alone When you're alone you're alone When you're alone you ain't nothing but alone Now I was young and pretty on the mean streets of the city And I fought to make 'em my home With just the shirt on my back I left and swore I'd never look back And man I was gone gone gone But there's things that'll knock you down you don't even see coming And send you crawling like a baby back home You're gonna find out that day sugar When you're alone you're alone When you're alone you're alone When you're alone you're alone When you're alone you ain't nothing but alone I knew some day your runnin' would be through And you'd think back on me and you And your love would be strong You'd forget all the bad and think only of all the laughs that we had And you'd want to come home Now it ain't hard feelings or nothin' sugar That ain't what's got me singing this song It's just nobody knows baby where love goes But when it goes it's gone gone When you're alone you're alone
Agentra
I got really confused for a second because I thought the thread was under my username.. 😅 Yes. Exes have come back. I've went back before, never again!
elaine567
The grass may be greener elsewhere, it may be brown and dried up, but the fact is they usually just do not want to come back to your grass.
basil67
@elaine567 Very true. I think the reason that I didn't ever go back was because the old grass was dried up and weedy. Yes, it may take a few tries to find something really good, but that I didn't land on 'perfect' straight after doesn't mean that the old weedy grass was worth going back to.
