JadeStar
Last night I was up and down about 4 times going to pee. That is unusal for me. I didn't drink alot before bed, nor did I during the day. It doesn't burn or anything when I go, not prego, so what would be making me pee alot last night? Why would that night be any different than any other? Has that happened to anyone else? Jade
slubberdegullion
Get checked for diabetes.
Author JadeStar
Oh crapola, I didn't even think of that. Thanks Slub. Also if it were diabeties wouldn't it be more often than just one time, or maybe its the start of it? Thanks. Jade
slubberdegullion
I really don't know about that, but I do know that one of the symptoms of diabetes is frequent urination. The test is a very simple blood test, nothing to it.
Art_Critic
Pregnant ?? or UTI ?
lilmoma1973
I pee alot during the night but i drink water all day!! Do you drink water? I'm not diabetic and I pee alot durng the night!!!
Author JadeStar
Pregnant ?? or UTI ? Nope not prego, guess its possible that it could be a UTI. lilmoma, yes I drink water but not alot, not to the point to where I would have had to go alot last night. Guess I will do what Slubber said as well and at least have the diabeties test run, but other than just the peeing I have no other symptoms of anything being wrong. westernxer
I get that way when I'm under the weather. If it keeps happening then I'd be concerned.
Outcast
I wouldn't worry about it if it's just one night. See how you are for the next few nights. Every once in a while I seem to go a lot for a day or two and then it settles down for ages. Unless you also go a lot every day, it's unlikely it's diabetes.

Really? you go to the bathroom alot due to weather changes? Hmm? Never heard of that. Learn something new everyday. Jade

whichwayisup
It depends on where you are in your cycle. When I ovulate I tend to pee more and also during PMS, the water let down, I pee alot too. If you're concerned just go have a check up with your DR. It also could be age, having to go more frequently. I know I can't drink much water after 9pm, which sucks because I end up peeing alot in the night.

brashgal
Both my kids pee double time when they've had anything carbonated - those boys cannot hold their soda...did you drink something that might be irritating to your bladder?
kitten chick
Both my kids pee double time when they've had anything carbonated - those boys cannot hold their soda... That's from the caffeine. Caffeine makes you have to urinate. Jadestar - it could be anything from eating a lot of salty foods recently and now you're expelling the excess water to something medical. Watch what you're eating and drinking and then decide if you need to see a doctor so long as you're not having other symptoms.

Not everything carbonated contains caffeine, I'll admit that it could be a contributing factor but they have this problem when they drink non-caffeinated drinks as well. Outcast
Certain juices have a very rapid 'transit time' for me - to the extent that I won't drink them if I have to travel anywhere.
allaboutchoices
UTI, STDs (chlamydia) will do that to ya. Also if you are under stress, you might have to go pee more often. Not sure why, but when I'm nervous or looking forward to something a lot, I pee a lot
