As someone else pointed out, there are less expensive ways to spend time with someone. If your primary goal is sex and you are willing to spend that kind of money to have that kind of experience, there are places you can go for that I'm sure.

In future when someone makes a tasteless remark such as this, do not respond. Anything you say will be used against you. You can tell from her language and way she speaks to you she condescends you. 

This would never work as a dating scenario, fwb or anything remotely romantic. It’s hostile and disrespectful. My guess is she met with you, discovered she felt uncomfortable for whatever reason and changed her mind or never intended to date you casually. You continuing to message her or speak with her got on her nerves and things got out of hand especially talking about cheaper dates (not classy). In future, decline. Don’t keep meeting or planning to go out.

Keep your first dates or meet ups low key as well and get a feel of one another. You’ll also be screening out people like this and seeing whether there’s any chemistry. You both will leave room to back out of anything with mutual respect and some class.
