Say to him; I’m free on Xyz date and time and if he doesn’t take the bait, move on. yes I remember pre-covid there was a bit of a stigma against people who used the apps to just text and not meet. Now it's seems like it's become normal and perfectly acceptable. I guess it's the VR, WFH world we live in these days - a virtual conversation is as good as in-person one, to many people. I find it absolutely bizarre, and so incredibly empty, not fun and superficial. even the "I don't wanna waste this persons time by just texting them" feeling would get people off the app and give you a chance in person.
