chillii
Hi again op. Actually after a divorce but earlier before l met my partner now, l'd just accidentally met someone online where we'd just instantly clicked ib incredible ways. lt took about 9mths before we managed to actually meet , and it was exactly the same in person but unfortunately , she'd also turned out to have some mh problems and eventually it just didn't work out . BrinnM
I know 1 coworker (man) for whom it worked, and a few others (males and females both) who either never actually met up irl (kind of fizzled out), or they just didn’t like one another IRL. Or didn’t find the other person attractive, even though they had been on FaceTime daily for months prior. Can go either way. Chemistry, my friend, chemistry! You won’t know unless you spend a few days together in person. Edited August 24, 2022 by BrinnM

It's not about the other being attractive. Rather, it's about a lack of mutual chemistry. A person can be objectively attractive, but when face to face, we find that it just falls flat. BrinnM
Also - you don’t look the same on FaceTime. It’s through a camera lens, so in person ppl always look different. And while some might be pleasantly surprised, others will be disappointed when they first meet the other person face to face. Could be height, smell, the way somebody gestures or walks, and yes, chemistry, obviously.
