How to show her that I'm interested in her?

About one year ago I (21M with no previous dating experience) met this girl (20F) online through a hobby. We became friends and have been video calling and texting every other week since then. We live almost 3 hours away from each other. I developed a crush on her so I asked her out. We went out last Friday and met in person for the first time. I had an amazing time with her. She texted me that evening saying that she had a lot of fun and thanking me for inviting her (I payed for the activity we did), so I asked her out again and we'll meet again next weekend (she'll be paying this time for the activity we're going to do). This time we'll meet at about the middle (I'll be still driving more). I don't know if she might consider these to be dates as I never called them that way and have never flirted with her. However,  I guess that she can imagine I'm interested since I'm driving that far just to see her.

Next time I see her I'd like to be more direct with my intentions, but at the same time don't want to push her in case she's not interested. What should I do?

It's going just fine and she is well aware you are interested. Don't blow it by trying for hookups or being too forward.

She is making an effort to see you and paying . That is obvious interest. The distance thing is an obstacle but see how it goes.
