Mark79
Hi, I've been on a couple of dates with someone within the space of a week and we really hit it off. We have so much in common and we've already said how much we like each other, she has also asked me to go with her to a friends wedding. My issue is I get so much anxiety around what I text her in between dates. I don't want to come across as needy. I always send just one text and wait for reply. She was ill at the weekend and she thought she might have covid, so I offered to take a test around for her. Is that me being needy or just being nice? I do worry sometimes I am too nice. Also, the wedding is this Friday, should I ask her if she still wants me to go with her or wait for her to mention it again? My issue is I need to know so I can buy a shirt and tie. glows
Has she responded to your question if she’d like you to bring her a test? I’d get a shirt and tie anyway as a wardrobe necessity if you don’t have anything you feel comfortable with wearing on hand. Nothing fancy or out there but something classic and well made that you can use for multiple occasions down the line. Edited September 26, 2022 by glows
Alpacalia
Sounds like you're doing fine as is. True connections involve respect, authenticity, and consistency. Allow yourself to be vulnerable. Send that goofy text. You'll keep a woman engaged by respecting her space and demonstrating consistent behavior (and letting her see your true personality). So, on that note, it sounds like it's going well so far! Yes, it's always a good idea to confirm a date a few days in advance so you're both on the same page. You can simply ask her if she wants to meet you there or if she'd like to drive with you? Then you can cover the basics. Remember, she's been ill so she might be slow to respond. I hope you both have a lovely time at the wedding. Weddings are always a lot of fun. Edited September 26, 2022 by Alpacalia
