And after a couple of customers spoke with my manager about what a great CSR I was she fired me! I contacted HR and they did an investigation. And found that the manager did not like me (Why I have no clue) Well she lost her job and I got mine back! And the new manager was awesome but only a temp. But while she was the I truly enjoyed working there. I love working with the public and giving them a nice experience. The customers loved me. One that manager left they brought someone else whom was evil. I had lost my daughter and found out at work. And not one person cared. And when I told her I needed extra time to earn extra to go to her memorial in California. She cut my days from 5 to 2 so 9 hours a week. She was lying to me about how to do things properly etc. Well I had to attend her memorial on line the other day. and then go to work. I did not mind going to work but was clearly and justly upset still. I asked her if I could not work as cashier because I was too upset to work with the public. She threw a fit. There were several other workers there this day. I was so angry I walked out of work and called the district manager. And I was sobbing and she said If your going to cry don't call me!! mark clemson Posted December 26, 2022 Share Posted December 26, 2022 Generally, going up against a "toxic boss" is not a fight you are likely to win, particularly twice. You'll have to make your own decisions, but IMO generally it's better to look for a new job as quickly as you reasonably can. While it's easier said than done, IF you can find and move to an even better job that makes it a double win for you. 2 Link to post Share on other sites
