sheena bajaj
A random girl in a restaurant suddenly claimed that my boyfriend was asking for her number in the washroom. But he is denying the fact and saying he didn't even talk to a single person there. I never have seen anything in him so that I can doubt on him. He is very caring and shows his love and affection in every possible way. I have free access to his phone laptop everything even his bank. Now I'm very much confused why the girl would lie and I cannot digest the fact even that he can cheat. Whenever he is online he talks only with me... At night too he studies with me. If someone has any intention of cheating it can be felt by their instinct. He is leaving no stone behind to make me believe that the girl is lying. He didn't ask for anyone's number. What should I do? Even if he did is it okay for a boy to ask a random girl's number. Should I break up with him?

It seems like you have some doubts about him. Try to reflect on why that is.
glows
I’d tread carefully on this as it’s eroding the trust you have for one another. If you don’t think he’s ever been deceitful or disloyal don’t keep making him prove anything to you. Be more observant - say less, observe more. If he is a liar you’ll see it eventually. Constantly putting your partner under the stress of unproven or unfounded accusations isn’t appropriate. This in itself may end the relationship if he feels you don’t trust him. I suggest letting this go and working on your own confidence and conviction. If you don’t want to date him, end the relationship.
ExpatInItaly
What reason would a random stranger have for inventing this? Where did she approach you?
smackie9
Is this the first time this type of thing has happened?
JTSW
In the ladies washroom? This is so confusing. I recommend that you go back to the restaurant and ask if they have cameras pointing at the bathrooms.
Johnjohnson2017
The woman might have mistaken your boyfriend for some other guy. Was the restaurant crowded? Restaurants tend to be kinda dark so she might not have had a good look at the guy.

Do you know this girl? How did she get in touch with you to make this claim? Was your bf actually at the restaurant where this was supposed to have happened? Why would your bf be in the ladies bathroom (or this girl in the men's bathroom)?
glows
It may be the OP’s wording that is confusing. I read it as the other woman approached her while they were both in the washroom.
basil67
If you trust your boyfriend, then doubt the story from the girl. She might just like making trouble for random strangers

In which case, where was the gf when the bf was supposedly asking this random woman for her number? Color me confused.

I figured they were apart at some point otherwise she would have brushed off the comment. No idea!
