hmmhmmm2
I have some friends far and wide, but alas, distance keeps socializing to a minimum. Also, I travel for work, so trying to maintain a friend group in 1 location proves extremely difficult. I have found a little bit of success in meeting friends at board game stores; really only in my hometown. But I don't feel like I've found that group that's a strong bond or a bff or a significant other. In other words, I suppose I'm looking for something meaningful; and while that doesn't have to be a significant other, I feel as though that might be what I'm looking for in the end. mark clemson
As an adult I've found that common interests tends to be one of the better strategies. Busy grown ups simply have less time for "hanging out" (most anyhow) so it's important there be something that brings them together. You could try meet-ups, interest groups, clubs, church groups, volunteering, possibly even career-related groups.
