WCCJESSE Posted November 1, 2005 Share Posted November 1, 2005 Ok I have been friends with this girl let's call her Amy for the past year or so and its been going good .Well see i once told her a few months ago when we first met my feelings for her were strong and i wanted to be more then just friends.She explained she wasn't ready and needlesss to say i felt like a moron lol.Well last night she asks what i think of her which i said a really good friend cause that's what she wanted to be.She replied saying i thought we were more then friends and like 6 minutes passes with total silence.So any advice cause i really care about this girl but after last night i'm not sure what to do. Tell her how you feel Let her know that last night when you said friends you did not ant to scare her away. That awkward moment was just that, It something the two of you can get past. collegegirl83 Posted November 2, 2005 Share Posted November 2, 2005 From a girls point of view I know sometimes we say things like I'm not ready for a relationship yet because we want to feel out what we are feeling first. I think it was good that you proposed your feelings first. I feel that if you just explain that you said you were just friends to her because she had said in the past that was what she wanted and that you did not want to not be friends because she was not ready for a relationship she will understand and be greatful that you explained to her how you really feel. If you guys that are answering his questions could check out my thread: Relationship or Frienship, it would greatly be apprieciated to get guys prospectives to whether this guy I met wants just a friendship or a relationship with me.
