I realize answers will be varied upon age and weight
SMHappyface
In college, I gained an impressive 30-40 pounds by eating junk food and not exercising. When I realized that I must do something about it (soon after learning about my mom having cancer) I started losing weight by eating a strict healthy diet and exercising. I lost it all in a matter of two months, which may be very fast for some people. Anyways, I think I noticed that my pants started to become looser and my shirts started to button easier. I think you tend to lose the most where you tend to gain the most - depending on your body size. But I think during weight lose, it is lost all over the body as well, just most noticible in your 'trouble spots'... Keep up the good work!
sophia34
I started at 158 and I'm now down to 133 (at 5'6")--I first noticed the weight loss at around 148 when I realized I could take my jeans off without unbuttoning them--that was sweet! These were jeans that were tight when I started. I immediately went out and bought jeans a size smaller. That was the ultimate motivation. Since then, I've been able to do the same trick twice--and went out to get more jeans. Buying--and then replacing--those jeans was the best money I've ever wasted! It took me 14 months to lose all the weight (I lost about 12 pounds in the first three months and then hit several plateau periods.) But I knew it would come off eventually if I just kept up my new habits. Keep it up! It's a great feeling.
