Leahh
I tried posting before, but I don't know where the post went, so I registered. anyways, I've recently (past month), been on a "lifestyle change" (aka diet). So far I've lost 8 lbs. However, I fail to notice it, or even feel it. so my question is, at what point did you start noticing weight loss? or how about feeling it?? ((I realize answers will be varied based on age and how much you had to lose))
quankanne
change in weight is usually noticeable when trying on clothes that I own, and from comments from my husband saying that I look smaller. To me, I just look the same, the only way I can tell is by what fits better or looser! maybe you're the same way, seeing no improvement by looking in the mirror, but the scales tell you otherwise. btw, congrats on dropping the weight ~ are you doing anything special in the way of eating, or is it a diet/exercise combo? TUDOR
Yes congrats on your efforts and weight loss. Some changes will be more noticable than others depending on where the weight is being lost from. Like quankanne mentioned it can start with just noticing your clothes fitting better. My sister is very over weight and has struggled to loose her weight but over the last year she has really settled into a good routine and diet. She would complain at first about not seeing any changes. But slowly she started noticing she had more energy, she was in a better mood, and her sex drive increased. None of these changes involved physically noticable changes but they were still positive results from her working out and eating good and loosing weight slowly. She has now lost 50lbs to date this year. Just stay with it and you will begin to notice changes of all kinds, some sooner than others. Congrats though!
