Firing off some training stuff to a man that felt insulted that you would think his company would need it, was enough for him to sever your professional relationship. I suspect he felt you over stepped. Also you being aggressive about him not looking at them turned him off. He needs some HR training in how to respectfully handle himself in the work environment. A guy like that, I would date with a 10 foot pole. If his actions irritate you, don't date the guy.
