Why?

Recommended Posts

hi, im 16. Why does my heart ache so badly when i think about her? She broke my heart, i should be able to move on, i burned her letters and pictures, but still...the feelings of intense infatuation are there...What do I do? It has been 3 weeks since last talked, and all I can think about is her voice, eyes, everything...Even when im talking to someone new that I just met, I will always try to figure out if they are a close enough match to her...this hurts so bad.

Hey, Slugger, it happens to us all and more than just a few times to most of us.

What you're going through is the price you pay for loving someone. Love is not always a permanent thing but it often leaves behind a lot of pain to make up for the happiness it once gave. The depth of pain we feel depends on the depth of love we felt.

Even when we are in a love relationship and with someone we love, there is often hurt and pain. It's just the nature of love.

When we are in love, various chemicals are secreted in our brain to give us that euphoric feeling. When the love object is no longer there, we have to go through withdrawal symptoms, just as if we had been addicted to some other type of drug.

If all we felt was that passionate high all the time, we would place little or no value on love.

The next time you are in a relationship with somebody you love, and it will happen, just remember the lessons you learned last time. Each time, you'll get better and better.

Just expect that you'll feel pain, and you'll surely get over it, each time you are in love with someone. That's just the way it is.

One day, you'll meet someone who will love you and want to commit her life to you. But don't think there won't be some pain in that as well over time. It comes in many forms. It's life.

Modern humans are used to all kinds of narcotics and painkillers to take away every ache and pain they feel. But there is no prescription for heartbreak and there never will be.

You'll get stronger as time goes on...and you'll get smarter. And one day, you'll be very happy with someone special and you won't even remember this time or why you were heartbroken.

Trust me!!!
