mark clemson Posted March 13, 2023 Share Posted March 13, 2023 This may depend a lot on the laws in the jurisdiction you're in, as well as potentially the lease agreement. Unfortunately lawyers tend to be quite expensive. Are there "renter advocates" in your area you could contact WRT to learning more about what rights you might/might not have? Do you happen to know someone such as a relative or friend with a law degree who might be willing (and able) to represent you pro bono? Beyond that, this seems like a legal question and the specifics of any answer will vary quite a lot by jurisdiction. Link to post Share on other sites
