933KJL Posted November 6, 2005 Share Posted November 6, 2005 Not sure if this is the right place to post this but.... I have decided to take the plunge and do the online banking with Quicken. I have linked the account and downloaded the available transactions, and manually entered the ones that were too old to download. Reconciled the account and appear to be good to go. My question is, do I continue to keep manually entering my transactions into Quicken? OK say I go to the grocery store and buy $100 with my ATM card. Do I put this in the Quicken register? And when I download, will the download enter another entry for the $100 or will it know and synchronize? I question this because a check could be written and entered today. Mailed on Monday and not received till Wednesday, deposited on Thursday and not hit my bank back till next Friday. So I assume Quicken would download a check for next Friday and not today.
