JS17
That's great that your diet is working for you Tangerina I've gone up about 3 sizes in the past few months and I rarely eat over 1200 calories a day. I don't get to exercise as much as I want to but I walk at least 2-3 miles a day and do light weight training (try to anyway) 2x a week. Do you mind my asking what you're doing differently? maybe it could help me. thanks

JS17
This thread has some great information... http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t71684/ Thanks. It's a good thread but not really helpful to me. While everyone says it's so much more than diet and exercise on the thread, all they talk about is diet, exercise and vitamins. I don't think I could change my diet much, I shouldn't eat too many fewer calories or it won't be healthy, I cut caffeine, and keep my simple sugar intake low. I could increase my exercise, although it's not like I don't get any exercise every day. I take my multivitamin & B-complex every day. So I'm not sure what I'm missing but since Tangerina is about the same size as me (or was) I wanted to see what she might be doing differently that I'm just not picking up on. Outcast
I could increase my exercise, although it's not like I don't get any exercise every day. Problem is that your body adjusts, it seems, to the exercise you do. If you don't increase time or intensity, you may find that you plateau. Are you doing any weights? Author Tangerina
Yah, I don't know what to say, but I do know that if you eat too little than you lose less because your body goes into survival mode... my intake varies greatly day to day... some days I eat very very little and some days I pig out but with dieting I just tried to stay within 1200-1600 but eat more on weekends and it still varies within that range... are you always eating really close to 1200? maybe try eating a bit more for a few days and then going back.... your body really can adjust and then that low intake is "normal" so your body doesn't try to use fat as fuel, it is comfortable with the fuel level you are at... so I would say vary it a bit, build a bit more muscle, and ask your Doctor because he/she probably knows your specific body and what would work best for you.... fundamental
Bike riding .....burns fat, but you will gain muscle so your weight might stay the same.
