What do I do? I have a friend that I go out with on weekends shopping.And most of the time my mother pick us up I call and she is able to give us a ride.But if she can not make it we ride a cab back.

 

I usually pay all the time and for cabs cause my friend seems not to like to pay. and how it would really end me short with money as I have guitar lessons to pay for among other things.All I said was we should just chip in half way that would be fair enough.And she says her things are always the most important.So she said "I have money for the store and not for the cab." I usually end up paying every time and its not like we ride in a cab every weekend either.Then she told me she left her money at home.I dont know what to do.it really has gotten to me.

Do not go out with this friend again until she learns what it means to share the expenses! There shouldn't be any free rides!!

Drop this person from your life. She's no friend. She's a selfish, self centered bxtch!

Next time she wants to go out shopping, tell her you only have enough money to go shopping and not to pay for the cab, see what she says. If she has no problem with paying, then fine. But if she drops you quick, you know she's not a real friend. Friends care about each other and understand financial problems. Don't let her use you. Find someone that can help pay for things.
