totallyconfused Posted November 8, 2005 Share Posted November 8, 2005 how long were you with him for? did you have any problems before all this happened in the past? i know how you feel, i've been there before... its takes time. if it was really meant to be, they'll come back... mine did, but i didnt take him back :\ do absolutely NC for as long as you can. from your other post, he is only trying to maintain friendship with you for his own sake, b/c he wants his cake and eat it too. its really a selfish reason on the dumper's side b/c he wants to break up with you, but have the comfort knowing he can still talk/see you whenever they want to. dont let him get that satisfaction. stand your ground now or else he will continue thinking he can do whatever he wants.. Author mooncloudprincess Posted November 8, 2005 Author Share Posted November 8, 2005 what he said in the end after i confronted him was "why can't you just go without the title and know that things won't change between us" i won't call him. i absolutely refuse. it just kills me to think that i waited 10 months watching his behavior and all before i agreed to commit to him and then a month after our one year anniversary he pulls this mess. He was like haven't you ever broken up with someone and gotten back together? I said hell no. for what. I hate it because I keep thinking he left me to run off and marry the shiny new girl after promising me the world. He said he saw his future with me. This really hurts. I didn't know he was this way. I am all alone here. I feel like i am dying and i know that they are probably soooo happy. i hope what they say about karma is true although i really don't believe it is. i never see it happen. It exists though, I think. In my lifetime, it always works very slowly. In due time, you will look back at this time of your life and realize that it's the reason you're where you are at that point - which will be a great place. And you'll never know what will happen to him because he won't exist in your world anymore - so does it even matter? Things happen for a reason. Sometimes the reason isn't revealed for a while.
