Glad things are sorted out now! I mean, personally, I can very much identify with him not wanting to get out of bed - waking up at 6.30am sounds like the absolute worst way to spend a Sunday in my books. But, that's why I would never agree to do that. If he knows that he doesn't like waking up early, then he should have said something during the discussion, not just flaked on the day itself.
