jadedalways645
I have lost 20 lbs. just doing the normal (diet, etc.). But I need to lose 50 more and I need a good torso workout mainly gut and chest. I used to work out and play football but it has been a while and I forgot what was the best workout for these areas. I ride an exerscise bike for 30 min. 6 days a week. Anyone know what to do now? Also what are some good foods to add to my diet that will keep the momentum?
NrclptcNSmniak
im under the impression that when you lose weight you don't only lose it int he spot you are working out. all cardio activities burn calories. some people just find that losing weight in certain areas is harder due to the way that their body works. the only real thing excercising your abs is gonna do is strengthen the muscle. i believe that the best way to loose weight is just to eat healthy, and run your ass off.... there are ways that you can tone and sculpt the muscle too if thats what your looking for. since i mostly excercise at home i usually do something like 10 normal pushups then switch to bridge which is just the same as push up position except with your elbows on the floor. you keep that position for about 30 seconds then do 10 more pushups but this time bring your hands about shoulder width apart and as u bend your elbows point them toward your toes. then switch back to the bridge for 30 seconds and then another 10 really wide pushups for your back. then the bridge for another 30 seconds... really its like torture esp if you do it over and over and over but ive gotten results so im not really complaining too much.... then again ive always been a skinny little bastard so getting definition in my abs or any muscle isn't that difficult. make sure to properly warm up by stretching and personally ... i prefer running over an excercise bike, but not everyone has the luxury of having a safe place to run.
