To respect her wish. Now when I think about it she was probably not very sure from the beginning whether it would work out and that's why she didn't want people to know.

Is she doing something to you, interfering in your relationship with your friends?

If she isn’t, if all she’s doing is ignore you, then I think your sister is right, you should just join your group as you usually do.

Awkwardness is in your mind. She isn’t the one who’s making you feel like a piece of garbage, you’re making yourself feel like that.

She ignores me and I also noticed some of her close friends started just saying 'hello' whereas before they would talk to me. So I also stopped approaching them.

By 'bad looks' I mean that the moment she sees me her facial expression changes as if she has seen a ghost. That's why at some point I started avoiding her because the whole experience was just painful. Especially when compared with some months ago when she could not wait to see me.
