Where are you when this fear of offending is taking place? In the car, watching TV, at a restaurant, or are you talking about in bed? Personally I think it would be great if men adhered to this code of behavioural paralysis for the entire length of a relationship. I, for one, would have spent far less time gagging and secretly rolling my eyes in disgust.

Tis why you don't spend the night together if you don't feel comfortable enough doing those things around them.

That definitely puts a damper on a hookup. Try dating a while first until you're a bit more comfortable. Avoid gassy foods on dates.

Beano will alleviate the farting aspect of this.
