A psycic told me I would meet my boyfriend before I actually met him

So, this is kind of a wierd story.... first of all I don't really believe in "psycics".... I am a pretty skeptical sciency kinda gal, tho I do believe there is more to the world than we can readily see.... and my philosophy on "real" psycics is this: so, you go to see a councelor and you tell them things about yourself and they use their knowledge and their intuition and their training and what you have told them to figure out things that you need to know about yourself and they tell you helpful things back... I think real psycics are just good at doing this on less information... it is mostly the intuition part that they use...

 

So there is this woman Linda, and I trust this particular women because she is the sister of a really really close family friend and she has this gift of "feeling" what people need to know about themselves....

 

So, earlier in the summer my little sister was trying to decide what school to go to and I was going through a REALLY rough and confusing breakup so my mom paid for us to both go talk to her... at first I didn't want to go because I thought anything she said would cloud my judgement in dealing with my own problems, but I realized I actually didn't want to go because I was afraid she would tell me it was really over... so I decided to go and I called her to confirm and she asked me my Ex's name and that was it....

 

So I went to talk with her and she told me all this amazing stuff about my life in general and things that I need to focus on to become my better self and things about the move I was about to make to a new college and lots of things about what was going on with the situation with my ex and how to deal with it and what I needed to focus on... she tells you that she doesn't predict, she isn't like that, she just helps to make you aware of things that you already know but need to have brought to your attention... so I got a lot of great guidence and things to think about...

 

Well, somewhere in the middle of the reading as she was talking about how my ex was self absorbed etc.. she kind of looked off into the distance and said "there's someone else, and he has dark brown hair and blue eyes, and he isn't far away, like he isn't far in the future, and it isn't like this person will be your husband or anything, but he will teach you a new kind of communication" This was really wierd because she basically is a councelor and isn't supposed to predict the future or anything!!! So I kind of wrote it off....

 

But then it happened.... 2 weeks later I met dark brown haired blue eyed Devon and didn't think much of what she said until I fell in love with him and realized that "learning a new kind of communication" was exactly what was going on.....

 

Steve, her brother who is a family friend said that she told me that so I would have concrete proof to latch onto so I would trust in the other more elusive and peronal/emotional guidence that she gave me, so I would feel like I could trust it...

 

Devon thinks it is cool but is mad that she said I won't marry him... his response is "well, maybe she was wrong about that...

 

HAha, that si why I usually don't go in for this kind of stuff, because if I decided to marry him I will always wonder about that little comment she made....

 

I don't really know what to make of the whole thing, but it is an interesting story.... and I am happy things turned out the way she said... she helped me let go of my ex and be open to meeting Devon... in some ways she helped it along a lot since he and I actually first met online (tho we were going to the same college at the time) and I would be lying if I said I wasn't just a little bit intrigued by the dark brown hair and blue eye thing going on with this guy I just met who has everything in common with me..... so which came first, chicken or the egg, or are they both happening at the same time, if you catch my drift....

Who knows some may be on the money.......however........

I had a friend who worked for a psychic hotline..... she was psychic! She knew that the phone bill and utility bills would come every month.....WOW what insight!!! Their job was to keep people on the phone as long as possible of course.

 

I also had a friend that was addicted to this... dont get sucked in.

 

Just someone suggesting to you that a brown haired guy will come into your life may put you in the position of sending "I am interested" signals to the next brown haired guy you run across to get his attentions. Planting the seeds of suggestion and hope....... people love to have hope for something to happen to them!

 

My psychic mind is telling me right now that everyone reading this will have to go pee within the next 4 hours. Lets see if that happens.........

Actually, I do believe some people "see" things. I happened to talk to a psychic about 6 months before I met my husband. I asked her questions about this guy I had a lot of trouble getting over with. She said: "Does his name start with M?" I'm like "yeah"; and she's like "Is his name Mike?" I'm like "uhh no, MARK, but hey, close enough!" She said: "No no, I'm seeing a Mike. You will spend the rest of your life with him". I thought "Okay, whatever, she meant MARK!!!" I didn't know any Mike and what she said didn't make any sense. I got pi$$ed because she wouldn't tell me what I wanted to hear.

 

So anywayzzzz, Mark never called me ... and I met Mike 6 months later. I have to say, I had completely forgotten about the psychic thing. It's only when he proposed (one year later), that the psychic came back to mind. It kinda freaked me out I thought oh my; maybe she was right? It gave me chills on spine.

I met this woman in a love advise chatroom. I kept rambling about the first guy (Mark) but didn't mention his name and asked for people's advise. She PMed me, and said she wanted to share some thoughts if that was okay with me. She said she was psychic, I thought "yeah right"; so I asked her a bunch of questions (related to Mark); and then she mentioned the whole "M" / "Mike" thing. She said she didn't want any money, and just wanted to share what she knew. I was only left with some frustration after she logged off; as I felt like she had just wasted my time. Guess I'll never know for sure; it is a pretty weird coincidence though.
