My Weight Loss Story....

Hello All,

 

I've recently gone through a major lifestyle shift that has 100% changed my life.

 

FYI I'm 26 and 5'6. Three years ago I was suffering from chronic panic attacks, IBS, and insomnia. My not so brilliant Dr. just wrote me preseciptions. The anti-anxiety meds did nothing for my attacks, but they did manage to pack on 30 lbs of flub to my figure. I went from 120 to 150 in just under 4 months. I was devasted. And still sick.

 

I got off the pills and was just stuck with this weight. I was MISERABLE. I looked awful. I had been thin all of my life and now I was buying clothing in double didgets for the first time ever.

 

I tried Atkins, Zone, low calorie, pills, you name it lose weight. Nothing happened. For the past 2.5 years I tried to lose weight.

 

Fed up with my doctor's jackass suggestions, I said to hell with modern medicine and went the 100% natural route.

 

By all natural I mean, I ate 100% organic fresh foods ONLY and cooked every single morsel of food from scratch. I even made my own organic whole wheat pasta from scratch. I cut out ALL man-made processed foods. ALL OF THEM. No more soda, seltzer, bottled juices, mustard, canned goods, frozen foods, meal bars, cereal...none of it. In other words, if it's premade, I don't eat it.

 

The results? I made some of the most delicious foods ever! and enjoyed eating again And 20 lbs fell off of me in a month! And I didn't deny myself anything. I ate it all....as long as I made it from scratch and it was 100% organic. The last 10lbs came off over the next two months. I'm a 4 again.

 

PLUS...it cured the IBS, panic attacks, and insomnia. I have a teenager's energy, my skin is amazing, and I feel great.

 

I wanted to share this because changing my diet has changed my life. In every way possible.

 

OH, and my other little trick was sipping two tablespoons of ORGANIC RAW UNPASTEURIZED APPLE CIDER VINEGAR before every meal. I put it in caps because if it's not organic, raw, and unpasteurized it won't work. But this stuff not only CURES acid reflux but it helps weight come off like lightning.

 

Also, drinks lots of water and try to have red wine and 70% dark chocolate a few nights a week.

Audrey, please e-mail me your recipes! lol I don't have any weight problem (yet), but I can see it hitting me like a big fat truck in the next 10 years if I keep eating the way I do.

Hi Audrey!

Congrats on losing the weight! I'm 28 yo, 5'5'' and weigh 155 lbs. I would really like to lose weight, at least 15 goal is 25. I have two children, so most of the overweight came from the pregnancy. I just can't seem to stick to a diet though.

Very unhappy with my body! Only one more hole left on my belt. It sucks cause it's my favorite belt. I've gone from a size 8 to 13. Hubby says I look fine and I still turn him on. OK! I don't want to have to buy bigger clothes. My closet is full of my smaller sizes and I don't want to get rid of them. Thinking i'll lose the weight soon. Yeah right!! We'll see.

Did you also exercise? If so, what type of exercises?

Could I send you a message or email you to get the recipes and to stay in touch if I need help?

I began walking for exercise. I'd walk about 45-to an hour at least 4 days a week and at different times of day. I did a few sit-ups here and there but my back has issues, so that didn't last long.

 

I guess the only issue is sticking to it 100%. I was a real nazi about it all! lol If it wasn't fresh and organic, I didn't eat it. Oh, I should also mention that I am taking NO medication of ANY kind. Not even an Advil. But the effort paid off almost instantly and I'm keeping the weight off! And I ate like a horse! I'm still eating like a horse! It's pretty great.

 

So yes email me and I'll send you some menu ideas and info.

 

What amazes me most, and although all of the books I read mention this happeneing, is the few times I cheated and had "regular" food, I got sick! My body actually recognized the chemicals in food AS chemicals and rejected them. Interesting.
