angel eyes Posted July 8, 2001 Share Posted July 8, 2001 i know there are alot of icons to use in a computer but when you send a letter there's the typical xoxo. if i send a letter to a guy friend whom i was only acquantaince, is it apropriate to send xxx?. i just don't want to cause confusion because i thought x equals hugs and o kisses. Tony T Posted July 8, 2001 Share Posted July 8, 2001 If you're sending a letter to a guy acquaitance, I don't think it is appropriate to use xoxoxo, with or without the question mark. At the end of the letter, use "warmly" or "your friend" or even "sincerely" and then sign your name. Frankly, I wouldn't waste my time writing to acquaintances. Send him a postcard.
