Letting Go

I have been seeing this guy on and off since April. When I say off, I mean that we were talking from April up until july, because I lost my cellphone and I didn't have his number written down anywhere and of course, he couldn't call me because I had reported my phone stolen. Anyway, one day out of the blue, my friend, who got us together through a blind date, had called me and asked me if i had talked to him because he had been asking about me. So i gave her my number to give to him and he called the next day. We talked and then he asked me if this was my new cell number and I was like no, this is my house number until i get a cell phone. So then he says: "Well, I guess you will have to call me because I don't like calling house phones because I don't like dealing with parents because they ask so many questions." Then I kinda brushed it off and I was like, well if you want to continue to talk to me, you have to call my house phone. Then he was like, how about you call me since you have a house phone and i will do the the calling when you get a cell phone and i was like ok. (I was mad that he said that but, I was in too much of a good mood for him to make me change that)

Okay, then after that conversation, I was like forget him, I ain't talking to this nigga no more. I had forgot about him and after two weeks, when I had flipped the switch on him, he called me while I was at six flags. He called my house phone and my mom answered and he left a message, so my mom then called my friend's cell phone to relay the message to me. Okay, then I called him back and he was like I am in town, I want to see you. So I was like okay, we will meet at the mall afterwards. Then, to make a long story short, he met me at the mall. Then we went to his house. When I went into his room, he had on his dresser, pictures of his friends on his mirror, and then at the bottom of the mirror, in the middle, there is a prom picture of me that i had given him and a picture of him taped together. YEAH I KNOW, YOU THINK HE MAY BE CRAZY, BUT I thought it was sweet because this meant he must like me because he has never told me that he liked me. He has a funny personality where he is sometimes shy, but when we are face to face, he talks and opens up. i don't understand him at times, but now everything is going wrong. (I have a cellphone now). After that night at his house, he has only called me one time and I have called him only one time. I have a lot of pride and I never call a guy when he rarely tries to contact me. He is in college, but he is a freshman and we are in the same state. I just hate clinginess and he isnt like that and i am not like that. But, i do wish he would call me sometime. I haven't called him in two weeks and he only called me Saturday. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I want to just forget him and let him go. Just in case you're wondering, I haven't had sex with him. WHAT SHOULD I DO? WHY IS HE ACTING LIKE THIS? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
