digger
The happy part: My daughter and her b/f came over for dinner with me and my son yesterday. To bad they couldnt have stayed longer..it was like 2 hours and they were woooosh. Had to get to HIS parents at 3pm. But I put on a happy face hoping she'd take home with her that I've changed. Where was moomy? Celebrating 100 miles away with her sister I hear, and alone I presume. I was as happy as I could be until...as fate would have it, I opened up a paryer book in front of my daughter. There on the first page: TO DIGGER* FROM HER NAME* DATE 9/09/99* THE OCCASION BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!!!* (*) LINES SHE FILLED IN Does it ever get any easier????
Scott S
Does it ever get any easier???? It will get easier once you allow it to. The holidays can be hard, especially the first holiday after separation, divorce, or widowhood. Healing is a gradual process. The first Christmas after my ex left was almost impossible. I did have family & friends nearby, though. Spent quite a bit of time crying in my beer with my brother & old friends. It was nice to have them around. ___________________________________________ When life hands you lemons, made lemonade. When life hands you limes, make margaritas.
