I have given my fiance a budget of £1500 (she prefer to choose herself). When i told he she was quite happy about the amount and seemed quite surprised i said that much. I think the main reason is cos i think she knws that spending a damn lot on a ring is a waste of money (like 3 grand!) but i thought this amount was reasonable. what u think? RainyDayWoman Posted November 27, 2005 Share Posted November 27, 2005 if you're happy with it, and she's happy with it, then it doesn't really matter what any one of us thinks. i honestly think it's not that bad, considering the prices of rings out there. she can still get something decent without spending an enormous amount of money. so good for you both, and congratulations on your pending-official-engagement.
