JimboBob
I've been working with this girl a few nights a week for the past month now(She is leaving for a new job in 2 weeks). And I have really come to like and respect her. Normally I wouldn't have the nerve to ask her out but the older gentlemen I work with( married men) starting telling me she was really into me. So i finally got up the nerve to ask her out but when I did she told me that I was not old enough for her. I am one year older then her. Needless to say the wind was stolen from my sails. The other night I was talking with the gentlemen who gave me the nerve to ask her out. They asked me if I had figured out that she liked me yet. I responded to them "your wrong and I know that for a fact". They all looked at me kind of strange. I told them "I know cause I tried!" Then they asked me what I said, I told them I just asked her out and she told me I wasn't old enough for her. They were all rather shocked that I had been rejected on that basis and suggested maybe she wanted me to "whoo" her more. Frankly I still like the girl, I think she's the closest I've come to finding the woman of my dreams, but I've kind of been rejected so I don't have much nerve left. Should I bother spending anymore time on her or should I just move on?
slubberdegullion
Ask her once more, but only once more. If it's yes, then great. If not, then move on.

slubberdegullion
Excellent. You've already established the fundamental, now it's just a matter of arranging the details. Congratulations, and good luck!
