7on
I really like that tea with Chamomile. Very soothing. For me asking people on dates creates a lot of anxiety. Chamomile seems to make me feel more like myself. I'll also mention drinking chamomile tea while you're already calm makes you really sleepy - at least it does with me. wendel1
When we are in a state of panic/anxiety we think something is going to happen to us when we are put in a situation that brings on an attack. Instead of thinking 'if I go there something will happen..i cant do it...' keep telling yourself why something WONT happen to you, as in 'I've been here before..I had an attack..so what..it passed...i didnt die...nothing happened..and nothing will happen when Im put in that situation again' I know its hard, but this helped me to deal with my panic attacks
Guest
Hi there I was having similar panic/anxiety attacks that resulted in severe choking attacks - never really stopped breathing, but felt like I would at any time. My doc diagnosed it as stress and I have since read a book called "Self Help for your nerves" that teaches one how to control the feelings through breathing. Another VERY interesting 'thing' I stumbled on is how caffeine can affect people and can often bring on anxiety attacks. I have given up all caffeine and am learning to cope with the stress and it all seems to be going slightly better! Hope this helps.
