I read the reply to the other thread by NoFoolin, and I just have a question:

Are you kinda saying that I'm obsessed and codependent?

God, I'm really embarrased....I was just high up in the clouds with this girl, and then when she left, it just rocked my world, ya know? Ya ever been in a car doing 100mph and throw it into reverse? That's how I felt.

P.S.

About the question about the car going a hundred MPH and throwing it into reverse....my answer is 'no'.....but then, -I've never met a cow standing in the middle of the road who's life was more important than mine to stop for at that speed.

its amazing the kind of ridiculous child-like nonsense we put up with when we're desperate to keep someone.

This girl is on the way out the door if not already gone. Let her go, youre only making it worse on yourself by dragging it out further.

I'm sorry, i know it sucks to hear someone say, give up...but really, enough is enough.

Doesnt it suck when you fall for a girl that has issues? Like everyone else is telling you, leave this girl in the past, she needs a counsellor not a bf.

She was only in town for 2 days after the argument, and the only chance we had to see each other before she left was on her last night, when she developed some mystery illness that only lasted that evening...I saw her, she asked me to come over, but she was in bed with the lights out (and eyes DARTING round), and wouldnt really talk to me, or even lift her head up from the pillow...

:( :( :( No offence but this girl sounds like a pyscho from central casting

I love you guys....I'm not nearly as freaked out as I was, and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and brighter....I'm so glad I could get the input of all you folks....You're great :)

And yeah, she has issues, but it woulda been ok with me, as long as the consideration were returned....But if she's allowed to be crazy, but I must be perfect or I get judged without even a trial, that is what makes it impossible..

It`s one thing to accept that noone is perfect and love them with their virtues and faults, it`s completly another to put up with serious issues and sacrifice one`s happiness. Do not settle. Those kinds of issues are NOT part of the compromise you need to make when you want a serious relationship.

Hi Rio -

Thanks SO much for all of your thoughts! I'm feeling a LOT better now that the heart has taken a back seat to the brain, thanks to all of your (and all the other users who have replied's) words...Wow....I really owe you all a lot of thanks, and I will not be "leaving" the site now that I'm feeling ok...I'll stick around for awhile....I believe that I am among friends :) :) :)

One question though- that analogy you made about the car and the cow in the middle of the road.....Umm, call me dense, but I'm not getting what you meant, and I feel bad that since I can only see it literally, that I am laughing my ass off (well, you sure did put a smile on my face, anyway :D :D) even though I'm sure it has a much deeper meaning...Would you mind a quick explaination?

You rock....Happy New Year!!! (to EVERYONE)

DA:

Some things are not implied, -they ARE what they ARE.

Take it for face value.
