SugarWereGoinDown
Ic had this problem ever since sophmore year of highschool started...(still am a sophmore) Its Frikin embarrasing. My palms sweat excessively. Holding my book from one class to another my book is soaked. I have book socks and there is a huge sweat spot where I was holding it. Its really starting to effect my social life. Im afraid to hug girls, shake my friends hands, hold hands, anything. I heard this was called hypohydrosis or something. And the only way to get rid of it was surgery. Iv had my share of surgery. tonsol and adnoid surgery, infected polynidal cyst surgery and the last surgery I had made me scared for life. I had to get my armpits cut open because I had cysts that would get filled with puss and blood and would be very painful. They cut holes in my arm while I was awake under local anesthia. I did not move flinch or anything but when I was done I was told not to look and I looked. The hole was about an inch and a half deep and about 2 inches long. I passed out on the medical table right there. I then had to everyday stuff it with gauze and some cream, and replace it twice a day. I felt complely violated of my body. Now i learned that this sweaty palm procedure they have to make an incision ine ach armpit and clamp a nerve somewhere. Its so god danm depressing that everytime i get over something i have to go for another surgery. I cant live with sweaty palms its making me nervous, embarassing, and its just plain annoying. My mouse and keyboard right now has frikin sweat on it. usually when I shake someoneas hand or w/e and they say "man ur palms r really sweaty" I always find an excuse like "naw i just washed my hands," or "naw i just pot lotion on em." has anone ever had this or known anyone that had the surgery. Im afraid to go back and get more surgery. Im also afraid to mention it to my parents because i put them through alot with the surgery and doctorrs appointments and I dont like running them through all of it
