We've hung out a few time since then, and we both still enjoy each other's company and have a mutual attraction. We did not date long, only 6 months, but I have deep feelings for him. The more men I date the more I want and appreciate my ex. He broke up with me b/c he said since I'm going to college and he's not that I'm going to be a lot better off than him. He said he felt like he was losing his best friend. My mom made it clear she didn't like him and at one point made it very difficult. That was another reason. He is down here with the Navy and hates it. He said he hates it too much to stay longer than he has to. He even cried when he broke up with me. Does anyone have any tips for getting a 2nd chance?
