Him & his gf broke up Saturday and we decided we are going to try again. We're taking it VERY VERY VERY slow though, we had so many problems before that were so small but we ignored them and they got worse. Hopefully it will work out this time. We broke up and he rebounded to this girl for about a month. The only thing I did was invite him out with our group of friends Friday night. The rest just came together. We ended up together Friday night and I thought he was going to go back to his new girlfriend but he realized she was only a way of keeping his mind off me and that we needed to try again and make things right. So he dumped her and now we're trying to work out our past problems. We're by no means "together". We're just trying to spend some time together and see if we can be happy again, but we are taking it very very slow. Link to post Share on other sites

It hurts that he was with someone else but we started dating when we were in high school so he hasn't really been with anyone else before. So I felt like maybe that was part of our problem. Now that he was with this girl and saw he was unhappy with her too, he sees it wasn't me he was unhappy with but the way we had become so we're trying to go back to the way we were before we got to comfortable in our relationship and stuck in a rut.
