Miss Mojo
because english is not everyone's native language. they try their very best to break the language barrier and are probably still learning english. english is the hardest language to learn. because not all people were privileged enough to have a very good education. because some people's strong points lie in other areas, such as maths, or arts, and english is not one of their strong points. Tony T
This forum is on the World Wide Web (Internet) The Internet is availabe in many countries which are non-English speaking, but the people in those countries have love problems just the same. So they do their best to post in a way that we can understand, despite their lack of proficiency in a foreign language (English). There are also foreign students in the United States who post here and they are in the process of learning English. I would venture to say there are far more people in non-English speaking countries doing their very best to learn English than there are people in English-speaking countries trying to learn foreign languages. Those who are not proficient in English do their very best and should be honored for doing so. At least they have made a good effort to learn, unlike many who have not gotten of their lazy butts to learn a foreign language. People of all countries and all languages are welcome on this forum and we will always try to understand what they are writing. One other reason for the occasional bad English is that many people who were born and educated in English-speaking countries are just plain devoid of writing skills. A good percentage of those who enter college in the United States cannot compose a decent paragraph. I hope this answers your question.
