I have been seeing someone for two months, we have a great time together when we are together. Seem to be in sync and have similar interests and vibe. We both have children which makes it a bit more difficult to meet up, but we have met up 5 times. I am starting to get feelings for him and not sure how I approach this with him to see where his head is at. I have come out of a long term relationship over a year ago so dating is all new to me and I was still a teen before my last relationship!

I don't think it's time to start telling about your feelings after 5 dates.  It would be more "show" than "tell" at this stage, IMO.   Make sure he knows you are really enjoying your time together and, yes, do tell him that.   Do some of the initiation of contact and planning.

Anything physical happening between you so far?

IMO he's taking his time because of the situation both having kids. Everyone should be cautious about who they bring their life when kids are involved. Dating is a different animal when being a single parent right? Kids come first. That's where the true commitment lies.

Do you have fun together doing things together? Do you hear him talking about wanting to do a little more together? Does he want to get to know you better? Probably will tell you where he is at somewhat.

Usually when you're feeling strongly about a person and it's the right moment things will take their natural course I believe.

Both have children so I think things will, or shall I say, would probably be better going a bit slowly 1 step at a time. Because you both might like each other a great deal, but you might have very little to know what might not be a match, compatibility wise.

If he is giving those little hints towards a relationship it's a bit different then bringing it up. If you like the guy, I would want to share that with him that I am having feelings for him without the expectation of reciprocation. Just to let him know you appreciate his company!

There really is no right or wrong here, it's a matter of listening to yourself and matching your feelings with the pace of someone else's rhythm and see what instincts say.
