Sony12
That was odd. I strangely out of the blue got a call from a lady I haven't talked to since around April. And when I picked up it sounded like a normal butt dial where there is sound going on in the background but no one is actually on the other end of the line. At first I didn't even remember who it was and had to go back through my past contacts to actually remember who it was. How does that happen though. I get how a butt dial can happen with someone you have talked to recently but not with someone you have only talked on the phone with a couple times months ago. Seems strange. Would she have perhaps been reading through our text messages we sent to each other recently and then turned her phone off without closing up our text conversation? basil67
Most likely, her screen was left open on "contacts"
Author Sony12
That makes sense. She might be a little embarrassed when she finds out her phone rang a past Match person.
Gaeta
It has nothing to do with texting. You're still in her contacts that's all. Her last action was probably looking up a contact.
semble
She's probably got all her contacts listed with the name of the dating site in front of their name. So yours was on her screen along with a bunch of others and she sat on you.
smackie9
Time to block/delete her out of your contacts.
ExpatInItaly
I've dome it. I accidentally called a place that interviewed me a couple years ago (I decline the job offer) It happened exactly the way described above - I'd had my "Contacts" screen open and tossed my phone into my purse without even realizing something had touched the screen and dialed another contact. I only realized later that day because the place I'd accdidentally called sent me a message back asking if I was still looking to change jobs. You're really over-thinking this, OP. It's more than likely not this: On 9/2/2024 at 12:56 AM, Sony12 said: Would she have perhaps been reading through our text messages we sent to each other recently and then turned her phone off without closing up our text conversation?
