twigoa99
So I lived with a roommate for about 3 years, with just the two of us in the apartment. I guess I always had a crush on her, but I never have and never will act on it, as the relationship would be ruined if my feeling were not reciprocated. Anyway, due to the apartment being put up for sale, we both had to move out 2 months ago. I found a new place and so did she, we don't live together anymore. But I still do miss her and think about her. We have phonecalls 2/3 weeks or so and I see her in passing in our city, but we don't really share the shame social circle. When we lived together, we would see each other every day and spend time together. I just don't know how to get over thinking about her. I know I want things to go back to how they were, but that's not going to happen. Any suggestions?

Why didn't you suggest that you two look for a new apartment to live in together? Was that ever brought up? If she avoided living with you again, then you should try to accept that her feelings don't match yours. You're not roommates anymore so you won't lose anything by asking her or on a date...the friendship is dying a slow death anyway so there's nothing to gain by hiding your true feelings.
