minous Posted August 4, 2001 Share Posted August 4, 2001 hello my name is minous,age 42,sorry for the englisch,but I am from holland. this is my problem,my husband is working off-shore on a drilling platforn in the northsea,3 weeks on,3weeks off. thats okee for me,now I found out that there are also a few women working there,these are women from russia,for housekeeping and cleaning, i ask my husband,why didn,t you tell me about this,he says,I dont want to worry you. I am very unhappy with this situation,and I wonder if there are any other women online,with the same feelings or, and expirience, regards from minous. The laws of many countries forbids discrimination. In America, male and female police and firemen work side by side on midnight shifts and there are so many other situations like this. You've got a long life to live so get used to it. You aren't going to change the system.
