I used to be 40 lbs fatter than I am now.  I gained the weight for a few reasons : I thought I could eat anything and everything I wanted and never gain weight, I was eating fast food all the time, I was frustrated with my professional life at rhe time.  And, I also realize now, I was going to loose the love of my life (long story I may have gotten into on this forum in the past) which I was in complete denial about.  Needless to say, he moved away, now been gone for almost 20 years, and I am still not over it truly.  But that's another story.

Have others gained weight for all the wrong reasons like I did?  And if so did you loose it?  I lost it by joining Weight Watchers.

Are these really useful questions? You can read hundreds of articles about people who have documented their weight gain and loss experiences.

How about delving into what really matters to you today? CongrAts on your weight loss! Why did you lose the weight? What are your plans now? How can we help?

Today?  What matters is keeping the weight off, achieving the next level of things in my career, making more money.

That's terrific! Is there something you'd like to discuss that we can help with?

SOmetimes it just helps to just "say it", whether to others in person or on forums like this.  Strange?  Well, this is the world we live in now.  I did gain back about 25 of it, then dropped it again in 2020, so far I have kept it off since for the second time.

No, not strange at all. I just wondered if there was some question involved or some part of the post that you hoped we could discuss with you. I think you have every right to be proud of your accomplishment, because it is indeed, a challenging one.
