Never invited to his home since 6.5 years

I have been together with someone since 6.5 years and broke up with him now. He always had an excuse not to have me coming to his place. He had renters he shared the house with and confirmed since 2 years he has a lawyer working on getting them out as he had no signed lease agreement. The lawyers never took up work as he could not afford to pay what they were asking. So he kept me believing that the lawyers are working on the case.  I pointed him to the necessary law forms to take action himself which he later did with success. Stay away from a relationship like that. Do not waste your time. He called me bad words and accused me of things I never did.

I ran it through my BS translator and got this: "I live with my wife, we're getting divorced but the lawyers never served her with papers because I didn't pay their retainer".
